Hazlehead Primary P7 Pupils see
Science Demonstrations.
Class 1DP, as part of the Science Museum
Launchpad Outreach Project, entertained P7 from Hazlehead
Primary to a variety of science demos on Thursday morning. The
class are participating in this project to improve their science
communication skills. From 'The Tablecloth Trick' to 'The Egg
Drop' the primary pupils were hugely entertained and also
contributed to judging '3 Cup Trick' as the most entertaining
demo of the day! Meanwhile, over the past few weeks, the class
have been conquering 'The Launchbox Challenge' - building an
energy transfer contraption which the Science Museum have filmed
at work; imaginatively, they named their contraption 'Jedward'!
The class now look forward to 'The Final Event' in May - a night
at the Science Museum in London to celebrate their
