Hazlehead gets a visit from Coby!
S4 pupils in the ASDAN group enjoyed a vist today from Roland Jones and his dog Coby. Roland, an active member of Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team and SARDA (Search and rescue Dog Association, Scotland), talked with the group about their work together before demonstrating Coby's skills on the playing field, using Darren and Alan as "bodies". Roland and Coby have been qualified for a year and have had seven callouts so far, during which they have had two "finds".
