ABERNETHY 2008
For the fifteenth successive year, Hazlehead Academy S6 students have enjoyed a weekend away from their studies at the Abernethy Outdoor Centre in Nethybridge. The weekend offers a series of challenges both on site and off site. Water sports such as Canadian canoeing and kayaking and activities like mountain biking, coasteering and gorge walking were on offer. Students also took part in team challenges around the centre.  

Highlights of the weekend included the assault course on Friday night with the infamous water jumps! True to form, a number of students managed to take an early bath! Everyone seemed to enjoy the activities on offer. Staff present were hugely impressed by the maturity of the students and the weekend was a tremendous success.
